Cast: Oliver Burton
Oliver graduated from NIDA in 2015.
In 2009, he produced the inaugural season of the Sport for Jove Outdoor Shakespeare Festivals, then served as SFJ’s founding business manager. His performance credits with the company include: Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet, Julius Caesar and Antony & Cleopatra.
In 2018, Oliver travelled to Auckland to rehearse with The Pop-Up Globe and then performed in Macbeth and The Comedy of Errors during their Sydney season.
Oliver is a regular face on Sydney’s improvised comedy scene, having founded impro company, The Post-Haste Players, for whom he continues to direct and play in long-form improvised Shakespeare shows including Bard to the Bone, The Post-Haste Histories & Romeo & Juliet- Improvised!
Oliver’s debut short film as actor/writer/producer, Diagnosis, was completed in 2020.
When not performing works of fiction, Oliver can be found entertaining crowds as an MC/presenter or auctioning million dollar real estate with Cooley Auctions.
